Shenoi Goembab - The Pride of Goa

It is a matter of pride not only for residents of
Bicholim but the whole state of Goa that a versatile personality like Shenoi
Goembab was born in this land. Late Waman Raghunath Warde Walaulikar simply did
not work for rejuvenating the Konkani language but made every Goan aware of
their self-respect and self-identity. The work of Shenoi Goembab was not limited
to Konkani movement alone but he was a great historian, researcher and a
thinker, due to which he attains high respect in Goa's history.
